Advantages: Fab smells, huge range, lovely accessories

Disadvantages: Can seem expensive, but they last for ages

I have recently found out about Yankee Candles and have become addicted immediately. They are not like your usual scented candles, where you cant smell anything apart from the match you just used to light it. The fragrances are really strong and envelope your whole house, without being over bearing.

I started off using the sampler size candles, but when I realised how good they were, I quickly graduated to wax tarts and tart burners, which give off amazing scent. My friends say it smells gorgeous in my house!

My current fave is a mixture of Clean Cotton and Evening Air - which makes Evening Rain Shower, but there are so many fragrances to choose from - and all the ones I have had smell fab.

As well as having a huge range of fragrances, they also have pot pourri (which looks and smells fab), a massive selection of tart burners, candle jars, fun tea light holders.

I buy my Yankee's from www.yankeedoodle.co.uk, but there are a lot of places you can get them online. They can cost anything from £1.00 for a wax tart, up to around £15.00 for a large jar candle, so there is something for everybody's budget.

If, like me, you had given up on scented candles because they don't do what they say on the tin, give Yankee a try and I guarantee you wont be disappointed!
