Advantages: Fantastic range of fragrances for the home and car

Disadvantages: Slightly pricey but they do last a long time

When I last went over to my sister in law's house the first thing I noticed was the gorgeous scent coming form the liviing room, this scent I soon discovered was a Yankee Candle, since that day I have a Yankee Candle almost constantly burning!

The Yankee candke company produce a range of products which include candles which come in various scents and sizes. I first brought the sample jar (3.70z) but soon moved onto the larger 14.5 oz jars. (Approx £6 to £7) The largest jars available are 22.70 oz and are double wicked. (Approx £17 to £20) Personal favourites are the baby powder and clean cotton fragrances. There is such a wide variety of fragrances going form fresh and light to slightly heavier but not over-powering.

Yankee also produce room sprays, scented tarts and reed diffusers. The other product which has become a firm favourite in our household is the Yankee Car Jar, an air freshner for the car. We have often brought car airfreshners and only days after being opened you can no longer smell the scent, this is not the case with the Yankee air freshner, the scent can still be smelt after a month, the one I currently have in my car is the beach walk scent, it is a lovely fresh scent reminding me of days by the sea-side.

You can buy Yankee Candles on-line or at independant retailers, such as Barnetts Hill garden centres. There is also a Yankee reward scheme where everytime you spend over £10 in a single transaction you gain a point (stamped onto a loyalty card) once you have 10 points, this equates to a free £10 transaction on a Yankee purchase.

In summary, I have tried scented candles in the past but once lit I can't spend anything, with the Yankee products I have never looked back and my house and now car always smell fantastic.

Summary: Great scented candles etc that last for a long time, I would never go back to any other!
