When it comes to wax tarts from Yankee I have to admit I'm a wee bit obsessed withe them to be honest. At £1.25 a tart usually they are a nice little affordable treat for me and my home and there are just so many scents to choose from which means I never get bored of them.

This is one that at the time of writing this review I am actually burning whilst watching the Brit Classical Music Awards and its a very nice accompaniment really!

The Packaging:

This comes in a see through plastic wrapper and on the top of it we are told what it is and who it is by and there is a picture shown of flowers on the fron tof it then on the back/bottom of it we are clearly shown do's and don't when using the tart, we are told to expect 8 hours of burn time from it and contact details for Yankee are given. Its easy to remove and dispose of the packaging.

The Tart:

The tart is white and round in shape with Yankee written on the top of it. Its a thick piece of wax with fluted edges and all you do with one of these is snap it easily in half and burn half of it at a time or pop the lot of it in the top of an oil burner and place and light a tealight under it.

This is a slow to release scent. It has a distinctly floral scent to it which isn't harsh but a warm slightly sweet fragrance and I do recognise it as soft jasmine fragrance but it is a clean smell.

Like I say this takes a while to release its fragrance and when it does its subtle and although I feel it could be a tad stronger it has so far lasted me over 8 hours of burn time with some wax left in my oil burner. It isn't one that leaves too much of its fragrance behind a while after its been put out but I do like it, it just happens to not be one of my favourites that I would ever go out of my way to buy again.

This is also available in candles and other fragrancing items and readily available in places like Clinton cards, Yankee themselves and from online retailers such as Amazon.
