Yankee Candle Mosaic Leaf Tart Burner

      Nice looking burner

I decided to buy a Yankee candle burner after reading all the good reviews on the wax tarts. There was loads to choose from and I ended up buying the mosaic leaves burner because I wanted something ethnic looking to go with the rest of my decoration in my living room. Although the leaves mosaic burner isn't exactly ethnic the colours of gold and brown were the most ethnic looking that I could find.

I bought the burner from ebay for £8 as it had been discontinued from Yankee but can still be found on some websites for around £16.

The burner is made of glass and has a mosaic pattern with different shapes of glass and coloured gold and brown. There are also a leaf mosaic on the burner. It is very nice looking and different from the normal burners.

The burner has a hole in the middle where you put a tea light candle and on top there is a deep indent where you put the wax tart to burn.

When the wax tart is in the indent on top and the tea light is put inside the burner and lit the wax slowely melts and releases the aroma of the tart throughout the entire room.

The burner is really lovely looking on its own but it is even nicer when the tea light is lit as the flame of the candle hits the glass making it glow and it throws off nice shapes and light over the walls.

It works well at conducting the heat and making the wax tart melt and it takes hardly any time for the tart to melt once the tea light is lit.

Unfortunately being made of glass it is quite fragile and my one fell off the mantelpiece and ended up cracking on top and when I tried to use it again it shattered. This was my fault though and not the fault of the burner so I would still really recommend it to people looking for a nice looking wax burner.
