=== The product ===

This is a ceramic bowl, mine is in cream, that comes provided on a black metal stand. The stand has a swirly kind of design to it and it has a small round base that has little balls on the bottom with flat edges that work as little legs and mean that the product stands sturdy, flat and safely on any surface I care to place it on. The circular bit near the bottom has a small space that is just the right size to place a tea light.

=== The packaging ===

Mine came packaged in a cardboard box, it was firmly packaged and there was some bubble wrap wrapped around the cream ceramic bowl. The packaging was ample and no damage incurred to this in transit.

=== How to use this ===

All you need to do is put a tea light in place and then light it, drop a wax tart (I use Yankee Candle ones) in to the bowl and the tea light will heat the ceramic bowl and then ensure that the wax is melted filling your home with a delicious scent. I usually place the tea light in place after I have placed my wax tart in and I don't light it until it's correctly in place as I found that if I lit it and then put it in to place that I could end up spilling hot wax all over myself and my work surfaces in the kitchen which is where I tend to light this.

This can be purchased from numerous stockists and I purchased mine, in cream, from Amazon.co.uk for £4.99 + £1.75 postage in August 2011. This can still be purchased from there (September 2011) for the same price but is seemingly available from quite a few different sites online including eBay for a similar price. I believe that this can be purchased in more than one colour.

=== Overall opinion ===

This is a fantastic idea. For just £1.00 or so I am able to purchase a wax tart that will usually last for 2 or 3 tea lights to burn down underneath. In just a few seconds I am able to put this in place, light it and ensure that my home is filled with wonderful scent for the next few hours. As the average wax tart lasts around 4 hours I usually find that I will get at least two full tea lights used up underneath on of these but because of the nature of the product I am able to just blow it out if I am going out or if I have felt like my home is already with enough fragrance and know that I can return to this whenever I want. It's really such a simple product to use and gives a wonderful effect that keeps my home smelling delicious and makes me feel confident when guests come round.

This is well designed, the ceramic bowl is sturdy and the stand is well designed so that the bowl sits on the stand safely and I don't have to worry about it randomly falling down and dropping hot wax everywhere. The deep design of the petal shape of the bowl means that this is deep enough to hold all the wax tart once it has melted and liquefied and I can still pick the bowl up by the top of the edges if I need to for some emergency or something.

I love the design of this, it looks very nice and it feels stylish sitting there releasing it's glorious scents just from a wax tart and a tea light. I love the fact that once left to cool the wax will solidify in to the shape of the bowl, I can simply turn it over (once I know the wax is hot) and then I can just give it a gentle tap and the wax will fall out all in one piece and I can then either save this for another day or discard it and use a different one. It's great to be able to change scents on a once or twice daily basis if that's what I choose to do.
