Advantages: Vanilla and fruity smelling

*My Intro*:
I have now become a little obsessed with Yankee Candles and have found I can spend at least half an hour in the shops just smelling these and deciding which one to buy.
My mum went shopping last week and a little independent shop had their fragrance of the week offer on which meant she was able to buy a tart for Pink Sands for around 80p.
*How to use*:
All you need to do is remove all the wrapping and place on to the top of an oil burner (in the bit where you would normally put the oil), light a tea light in the bottom as normal.
The tart then starts to melt which is when you start to smell the product.
Once the tea light has been extinguished, the tart hardens ready to be used again.
*Price and availability*:
The tarts are widely available for around £1.20, you can also buy them from EBay for this price with free postage.
*The range*:
Also in the same fragrance, Yankee also sell the tarts in multipacks and also sell sets of tea lights, tester candles, reed diffusers, large glass jar candles etc. Prices can range up to around £16 depending upon which product you buy.
*My opinion*:
I would say, this seems to be a little more subtle than the other fragrances I have purchased, however I sill would say it is quite noticeable and within 5 minutes of the tart starting to melt, I could smell.
Yankee say that It's an exotic island escape in the beautiful mix of bright citrus, sweet florals and spicy vanilla. I was la little concerned when I read this as I don't really like floral smells but to me, it doesn't smell very floral at all. The vanilla is quite dominant, which was great for me as I absolutely love vanilla, and there was also a fruity smell but I couldn't really put my finger on what exact fruit it was.
Although I probably would not have brought this myself, I am quite pleased with it and think I might purchase some more.
I would only give it 4 out of 5 stars as not quite strong enough for me.
Review may be on other sites under same user name.
Thanks for reading.
Summary: A nice vanilla and fruity tart fro Yankee
