After trying 2 of the regular tumblers from the Yankee Candle range I requested a couple as presents for Christmas as I wanted to try out some more scents. I was given 3 of the small votives from the Christmas range which included the Red Berry and Cedar. Although I love the tumblers for the look and longevity I do quite like the votives as it gives you a chance to cheaply test out some of the fragrances. History The Yankee Candle idea began in 1969 when a young Mike Kittredge melted down some crayons to make his mother a Christmas Candle. The Candle was so impressive a neighbour asked to buy the candle, so Mike Kittredge agreed and made another. ... Read the complete review

===What is it?=== Another of the sampler candles included in my recent online order, Red Berry & Cedar is a seasonal, Winter themed release from Yankee Candle. As with all of the samplers (or votives) this shares the same attributes and is another short, wicked, fragrance-infused candle measuring a couple of inches in height and weighing 49 grams. A sampler candle is, as its name suggests, a way to get an introduction to the fragrances that Yankee produce without having to pay a lot of money on one of the larger glass-jarred Housewarmer candles. At around £1.60 each all of the sampler candles are inexpensive and many feature on sale at various times of ... Read the complete review

When out shopping recently I noticed there was 15% off everything in my local branch of Collectables and as they stock Yankee candles I decided to stock up on some wax tarts. They are usually priced at £1.20 each in Collectables, so this meant they would be £1.02 each with the discount. There is always a huge range of Yankee candles in Collectables, but added to this at the moment is a large range of 'Christmas' scented candles and I decided to buy some from this collection. After wandering around sniffing at a few, I decided upon which ones to buy and this Red Berry & Cedar wax tart was one of my choices. There were quite a few that I was ... Read the complete review

The Red Berry & Cedar Yankee Candle is another which I purchased in the January sales last year. I was looking through my collection of Yankee wax tarts a few days ago and decided to use this one, despite it being from the Christmas collection, and Christmas still being over a month away. The Red Berry & Cedar fragrance is available in a range of formats, as most of the Yankee Candles are. You can buy this one in the form of a wax tart (which is the one I have), a votive candle, scented tea lights, housewarmer jars (these come in three sizes and are like sweet jars filled with wax) and also tumblers (also available in three sizes, these are, as the ... The wax tart I am reviewing is Red berry and Cedar. I purchased the tart from a local Garden Centre where they stock a lot of Yankee products including candles and the wax tarts. After looking on the internet at a few different websites it seems as though this wax tart is currently out of stock on all the websites I looked at including Amazon. You can how-ever purchase this scent in the jar and tumbles candles as well as the tea-light and a sampler. I love the smell of fruity wax tarts and saw this in my local Garden centre and thought it sounded nice so decided to try it. The wax tart is a bright red colour and has a picture of berries on a pine branch. I ... Read the complete review
