Yankee Candle Soft Blanket
==Yankee Candle Soft Blanket Wax Tart==
I have a stash of Yankee Candle Wax Tarts that I have yet to use but these are coming to end and I have only two unopened ones left in my box so I already contemplating going out to buy a few more. There definitely is some sort of addiction there as these little items are just so moreish!
==Price and Availability==
For 90 pence I feel that the price is really great value when compared to your regular branded air freshener and these tarts usually smell so much better and can last so much longer so I have found myself buying these tarts rather than aerosols which is far better for the environment too!
The tarts are sold in so many different places and can often be found in the strangest of shops where you wouldn't necessarily expect to find them. As well as being sold on the high street there are tons of places to get them online and eBay can be good for picking up a bargain job lot from time to time.
==Look and Design==
This Soft Blanket wax tart is really how you would expect it to be with a crisp white colouring which seems to represent the clean freshness that you would expect of a soft blanket. The cute picture of a teddy on the front makes the tart seem very comforting and on the whole it has a rather appealing look even though I don't tend to opt for these white or pale coloured tarts I was very drawn to it.
The tart melted quickly in the dish of the oil burner and was quick to release the scent of the tart which at first seemed very floral which surprised me somewhat as I assumed it would be similar to the Clean Cotton scent of previous tarts like this. The floral scents seem heavy of vanilla and this gives it a nice sweetness which is really rather pleasant and there are hints of citrus fruits bursting through that first burst of aroma.
I did find however that these initial fragrances that were released were quick to disappear and left behind was a slightly deeper tone of musky amber and this gave the scent a little more depth and linger power in the air. Mixed together these scents work well but I found that the majority of the scent was quite amber rich after the tart had been burning awhile and the tart scent didn't seem very special or very different for my liking.
The strength of the tart is not one of the best from Yankee and although it was quite strong in one room the light aromas didn't reach through to the rest of the flat which was a shame.
==My Overall Opinion==
This tart was not a bad purchase and the scent although light and nothing special still did fragrance my home in a fairly nice way. The mix of floral aromas with the light note of citrus was appealing but these aspects didn't seem to last long enough is the air for my liking.
I probably won't be buying this tart again as I feel it offers nothing overly special. I can't see anyone not liking it because the scent is rather mild and none of the fragrances are really overpowering and the tart could be left burning all day without the need to extinguish the tea light under the burner.
I feel that it is a very average tart which deserves a fairly average score of 3 out of 5 stars and a slight recommendation.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
Summary: An average tart
