Advantages: Natural scent, long lasting and intense smell

Disadvantages: Takes longer to reach full aroma than the wax tarts or samplers

I didn't actually buy this Yankee candle as it came as a free gift from the website where I was buying my samplers and tarts for spending over a certain amount of money. I didn't get to pick what candle I got and when it arrived I was actually a little disappointed at first as I prefer the fresher candles and would never have picked a lemon aroma. This is a different aroma for me but I really like it and ended up ordering some more when the jar was finished. Sparkling lemon has an aroma of Meyer lemons with citrus limes and Bergamot lemons.

The reason I normally stay away from the fruity yankee candles is because I find that they are usually too sweet and sickly for me and the smell tends to linger for hours around the whole house. This one is different because the smell is not so sweet and sickly and it has a more natural smell and doesn't smell like sweeties which is what I think most of the other fruity candles from Yankee smell like.

The lemon is not overpowering and I can also smell the oranges and lime and it really smells like Greece or Italy in the summer time and I always tend to burn this when the weather is bad as it really does remind me of summer and puts me in a better mood.

You can buy sparkling lemon in all the different candles Yankee offers including the samplers and tarts. The glass jar I got was only the small one but it lasted for ages and Yankee say that you should get about 25 to 40 hours burn time with it. I burnt it every day and managed to get it to last about 2 and a half weeks. The small glass jar costs around £7.50 so this is a good amount of time for the money.

The fragrance was also really long lasting and I could smell the aroma long after I had blown out the candle. The only problem with this candle was that it seemed to take longer for the aroma to spread all over my living room than it does with the wax tarts and samplers but when it did the smell seemed to be a lot stronger and more intense.
