One of my favourite smells is strawberry so when I spotted this in a wax tart format in my local Clinton Cards reduced from £1.25 a tart to a mere 50p I bagged what I thought was a bargain at the time. I love wax tarts as they are a cheap little treat for me and my home and allow me to experiment with the Yankee scents without committing myself to paying out what can be a lot of money on the candles. The Packaging: Like all of Yankee wax tarts this comes in a see-through wrapper and on the front of it there is a picture shown of strawberries and cream and we are clearly told what it is and who it by and then on back/base of the wrapper we are told ... WHAT IS IT? A wax tart from Yankee Candle for burning in a tart burner. THE FRAGRANCE Strawberry Buttercream smells to be like strawberry shortbread because there's a strong vanilla fragrance that mixes with the fruity strawberry. It does have a creamy fragrance but this isn't very strong and I don't think it makes the tart smell like buttercream very much. This is one of Yankee Candle's very sweet fragrances and it was a nice one to burn in the summer, I like that the strawberry isn't too strong and has been mixed with other fragrances because strawberry can be quite overpowering. When the tart melts the smell in the air is like a ... Read the complete review

My Yankee obsession is relatively young. I will give you all one guess why I decided I must try this brand.....yes that's right, reviews from all of you! I had seen Yankee products before and thought that they looked nice with some interesting scents but they were quite pricey. However, through the powers of dooyoo and ciao I soon learned that the Yankee brand can be bought in a number of forms including wax tarts and tealights. I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a wax tart holder and some tarts a few months ago. One variety I knew that I had to try was the strawberry buttercream version. I love strawberries and I love buttercream. I especially love ... Read the complete review

As you may see from a lot of older reviews I am a big fan of Yankee products and have tried quite a few of them. One of my favourite Yankee products is the wax tarts, these are cheap to buy, allow you to try new fragrances without spending a fortune and also make great air fresheners for your home. One of my newer fragrances I have recently brought is Strawberry Buttercream, I spotted this one on the Yankee website and thought the fragrance sounded lovely, I just had to try it. My Strawberry Buttercream comes, as do all Yankee Wax Tarts, wrapped tightly in a clear plastic wrapper allowing you to see the colour of the wax tart inside. The wax tart has a small ... Yankee's Strawberry Buttercream wax tart was another of my bargain buys recently, when I spotted a few of Yankee Candle's products reduced to half-price in Clinton Cards. At just 55p for a wax tart, I couldn't leave the shop without buying a few. This wax tart appealed to me right away as soon as I spotted it, as not only do I love strawberry scents but the photograph on the packaging on the front of the wax tart showed a mound of delicious looking cream with strawberries, making it look even more tempting. The tart itself is white in colour and smells quite strongly of strawberries whilst still in its wrapping, which also means these wax tarts are great ... Read the complete review
