=Yankee Candle Sugared Apple=
Yankee candles really need no introduction, but the one I am reviewing is the Sugared Apple Tart, not a fragrance I would have thought of buying for myself, but a friend knows I love the tartlets, and she gave me this one.
Generally wax tartlets are from £1.00 to £1.50 each.
=Why The Tartlet=
I feel that the tartlets are good value for money, as I break my tartlets in half, and use just one half at the time and it allows me to get double the experience from it.
The packaging of the tart is simple yet elegant, it comes in a see through plastic wrapper, and on the top there is a label and this has a picture of winter scene of apples, and some writing, telling us it is a Yankee Candle and the fragrance. On the bottom sticker, is some instructions and the weight which is 32g, it also tells us that we should get 8 hours of home fragrance.
The tart is round, but with a fluted edge, and I was surprised that it was white in colour, I know the inside of the apple s white, but I was expecting it to be red or green after the skin of the apple.
=Using the Tart=
I snap mine in half, and then pop on to the oil burner with a tea light in the bottom. The tart melts quickly within about 10 minutes, it goes to a pool of liquid, and the aroma of crisp apples soon fills the room, it has a hint of musk and vanilla, but I feel that these are back tones to the apple.
The Vanilla brings a sweet smell to the aroma, and along with the apple is a really pleasant smell. The aroma soon travels if you leave any doors open, and it is quite a strong smell but a natural small.
I was surprised that the aroma lasted so long and the burning time, I used the tart over about 3 nights, yet the next day in the front room where I had the burner, I could smell the apple next morning.
To me I find this to be a winter smell, it is quite deep with the musk and the apple, but with the vanilla bringing a sweet element, is a warm winter environment, it feels like you should be sat by an open fire.
=Would I recommend=
I would recommend it is a nice crisp yet sweet smell.
Summary: Overall a good combination of mixture of smells
