The Yankee candle wax tart is is a cake shaped piece of wax filled with fragrance so when it is heated up and melted it fills the full room with a beautiful aroma. Yankee have lots of different scents ranging from spiced fruits, normal fruits to cake flavors and 'fluffy towel' scents, there is a wide variety in scents so it will be easy to find one that's suited to you. I have bought my mum 5 of these wax tarts including this one but once they arrived and I could smell them I wanted my own so much so I went out and bought 'Tropical fruit' along with a few others for myself.

Yankee candle have a variety of items ranging from large candles, small candles to wax tarts, the tarts are considerably more cheaper than the candles so I can see why a lot of people buy these more, although I never under stood how to use them at first, you get an oil burner and put the tart on top until it melts, this well then start to evaporate with the heat filling your room with a most delicious scent, these have a burn time of around 8 hours so if you light one in the morning you will be able to smell it all day.

'Tropical fruit' to me sounds wonderful just hearing it, I love tropical fruit flavored things it leaves that tingly warm feeling in your mouth, so when I got this, it is a middle red colour sort of the colour red nail varnish most red people wear, it is a little lighter than the picture that goes with this review. The smell of this is very strong and you can smell it through the packet which made me want to get it melted straight away.

Yankee say 'tropical fruit' is "a mix of fresh picked mangoes and bananas with an irresistible hint of jasmine" Now this does sound a strange combination but of course tropical non the less. I can mainly smell the Mango in this which is mouth watering with an undertone of Banana which makes the scent sweeter and less over powering, I have to say I cannot smell the Jasmine at all, perhaps they should of put more than a hint of it in, but this doesn't bother me as just with the Mango and Banana it smells delicious.

I found some of the wax tarts scent disappeared when not in the solid form however this isn't the case with "tropical fruit" The scent is just as strong when melting however when you are nearing the end of course the smell close up does die down a bit but the scent has filled the air still so you don't actually notice, the smell when burning reminds me of mango body butter when you walk into the bathroom after some has just used some, it is really lovely and zesty which is great to have in your bedroom.
