~~Yankee Candle Vanilla Cupcake~~

~~Previous Yankee Candle Purchases~~

The only Yankee Candle products I have previously purchased are two scents from the Christmas range and they were also the large jars. I fell in love with the product immediately; the product is definitely the best of its kind that I have come across as yet. I have a love for candles and smellies for the house, I have tried many products from candles to linen sprays and by far think that this is the most expensive product I have tried but definitely worth every penny.
~~The product range~~
The Vanilla Cupcake Yankee Candle comes in a range of sizes and different products, some of these are; large jar, medium jar, small jar, tumbler, tea lights, tarts and car jar (car air fresheners). The specific product I purchased was the large jar which has a burn time of approximately 110-150 hours burning time.

~~Packaging~~

The product comes in a large glass jar with a well-sealed lid, the candle is of a good size and has a decent sized wick which is easy to light and relight when required. The colour of the candle is the colour of yellow sponge which is what you would expect from this product, it has a pleasant light yellow colouring. The front of the jar contains the label which has the product name and brand name alongside a picture of a vanilla cupcake with icing and hundred, thousands. The picture really does reflect the scent the candle gives off. The jar lid also contains the brand name which has been moulded into the lid.

~~Scent~~

The scent is Vanilla Cupcake and I can confirm that this is the scent which you get! My husband came home the day I purchased this candle and he was a tad bit disappointed when I told him there was no freshly baked cupcakes waiting for him but it was in fact the cupcake candle which was lit on the mantelpiece. Having two dogs I find that it can be quite hard to get rid of that doggy smell, especially living in a hot country when the dogs are constantly swimming at the local beach. I find that this candle when lit and blown out can keep the whole of my house smelling of freshly baked cupcakes with lemon frosting, I would go as far as to say it smells better than the cupcakes which come from my own kitchen! The scent lasts after the candle has been blown out which can't be said for many candles on today's market, however, the candle can make you feel hungry it smells that good, not like that's a bad thing!

The price may be off putting to some as it can appear quite steep, however if you weigh out the price in comparison to the burning time then the product is definitely worth every penny, many cheaper products last only a fraction of the burning time that this product has and that is where the extra charge lies, also the scent is more appealing as the products do smell as the item they claim to be.
