I absolutely adore candles and the likes from the Yankee Candle Company and one of the things I do particularly like are the wax tarts cos with about 8 hours burn time and being only about £1.25 per tart they are cheap enough to experiment with scents, really good quality and above all an affordable little treat for me and my home.

This one I bought on Weston Super Mare Pier and it cost me £1.25 for the one tart. It came in a see through and easy to remove see through plastic wrapper and on the front of it there is a little picture of small white gardenias and we are clearly told what it is and who it is by and then on the back/bottom of the tart other information listed includes being show little diagrams of do's and dont's and contact details for the Yankee Candle Company are given.

The Tart Itself:

Well the tart in shape is round and with fluted edges and its quite a thick lump of white wax with the word Yankee engraved to the top of it.

To use the tart you simply place all or some of it (these are very simple to snap by the way if you need to) and you light a tealight under the wax and in an oil burner. This tart quickly turns to a transparent liquid when heated and releases a wonderful clean and fresh and very natural white fragrance which of course is Gardenias.

The scent is subtle but strong enough and a very relaxing in scent. This scents my large flat wonderfully and then when I put the tealight out the scent lingers for a good hour too, the wax hardens and you can continue using it.

I got just over 8 hours of home fragrance from this which I thought was brilliant as always for something that didn't cost very much at all and all in all this gets a massive thumbs up from me!
