I've been using Zippo products for a couple of years now. I use a Zippo hand warmer almost every day.

I never used to believe the claim that Zippo lighter fluid was somehow better than the competitors. I assumed it was a bit like petrol and much of a muchness.

That was until I found a decent price online for buyin in bulk. It made the Zippo brand fuel, cheaper than any of the others on the high street, so I bought a few bottles.

My observations are that: My handwarmer burner seems to soot up less when using this fuel. I get a slightly warmer burn inside the handwarmer when using Zippo fuel as oppose to the others and it seems to burn for slightly longer than othewr fuels.

Because of the fact that the handwarmer burner seems to soot up less, it means that the burner unit needs replacing less frequently, which saves money in the long run.

I also find that the inside of my zippo lighter seems to take much longer to soot up. The other thing I have noticed is the smell, or lack of it. There is still that petrol lighter smell with htis fuel, but it seems to be less obvipous in my mind.

Overall, if I find this fuel at a decent price I will always pick this over any other competitor. However I don't think it is right how you sometimes see it with a huge markup on the high street.

Shop around online for it and your Zippo products will thank you for it. :-)
