Delicately disinfecting (Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant)

I used to use Zoflora disinfectant years ago but had more or less forgotten about it until I saw it in my local supermarket the other day. I thought I'd give it another go.

Zoflora disinfectants are perfumed and don't have a very clinical smell like most other disinfectants; I chose the 'Flowershop' fragrance and was surprised by its delicate perfume.

The disinfectant is concentrated so you don't need to use very much; the label tells you to dilute it one part Zoflora to 40 parts water so, even though the bottle is very small, containing only 56mls, it goes a long way.

Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant, made by Thornton and Ross Limited of Huddersfield, comes in a clear glass bottle inside a box. The label is yellow and tells you that the contents are 'fragrant and antibacterial'. Underneath this it warns that it is harmful if swallowed and irritating to the eyes. You also need to keep the cap tightly closed to prevent evaporation of the contents and because it is highly flammable. Another reason is to make sure you don't accidentally allow the contents to spill or leak because, as it is so concentrated, the smell would be overpowering. It is only when you use it to its correct dilution that you end up with just a subtle hint of perfume.

You can use the disinfectant on all surfaces making sure it is diluted as instructed. I use it for washing down work surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom and I especially like it for washing floors. It leaves such a nice fragrance that lingers for quite a while after you have used it.

I would definitely recommend Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant if you fancy using something that doesn't smell of disinfectant itself.
