This Class II Fast Ethernet repeater lets you easily connect Fast Ethernet hubs together. The CoolCurve self-ventilating design eliminates the need for cooling fans, ensuring silent operation, and increasing reliability by eliminating a potential point of failure. The compact design saves space and stacking clips allow convenient expandability and secure stacking of up to four OfficeConnect units. It is operational in minutes and has diagnostic LEDs to indicate packet collision and port status, plus an alert LED (non configurable) indicates excessive network use or a partitioned 10BASE-T port. An MDI/MDIX switch allows the connection of a workstation or another Fast Ethernet hub to the fourth twisted-pair port. This hub offers full compatibility with NetWare, Windows 95, Windows NT and other leading network operating systems and is suitable for either home or office use.
