Cnet Powerswitch CNSH-600 ... convenience: the PowerSWITCH SH-600 requires no configuration. Set up the SH-600 in a network rack or on a desktop, hook up network devices to the ports located in the front of the hub, connect the power and a 100Mbps network is ready to go.

Fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet specification, the PowerSWITCH SH-600 sends data at 100Mbps using Category 5 UTP wire. Support for the NWay auto-negotiation standard permits the hub to sense the speed of the attached network device and set the proper transmission rate. A switch-selectable full-duplex feature allows 200Mbps transmission when the port is connected to another 100Mbps full-duplex device. Each of the six ports has a 256K-byte buffer and a 4K-entry MAC address table which lets the hub filter and forward data at 148,800 packets per second - full wire speed.
