The optimal application for this Switching Hub is as a "Bridge" joining together network segments operating at different speeds. The CNSH-800i is capable of providing a bridge for Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) devices to communicate with Ethernet (10Mbps) devices. This combination allows users to place Fast Ethernet segments and Ethernet segments on a single network. The The CNSH-800i features an SNMP agent for added network management capabilities using CView.
