Cnet USB-07 ... These Hubs offer both Full-Speed and Low-Speed transmission capabilities, depending on the cable used (twisted-pair or untwisted-pair). Full-Speed transmissions allow link distances up to five (5) meters, providing the greatest versatility when placing peripherals.

To maximize energy efficiency, these Hubs can automatically set themselves to operate in self-powered mode or bus-powered mode. When an external power supply is sensed, either Hub will automatically switch to its self-powered mode. In self-powered mode, up to 500mA is available for attached devices (such as printers or scanners). When connected to devices with low power demands, these Hubs provide their own bus power. In just a few seconds, the CNUSB-07 can be cascaded to provide up to 127 ports whenever additional ports are needed. Each Hub provides Downstream ports for connecting peripherals, as well as an "B" Upstream port for cascading to another USB Hub or connecting with the host computer is also included.
