D-Link DUB H7A single Type B upstream port is provided to connect to the host computer, or another USB hub. Configured directly by the operating system, the DUB-H7 operates seamlessly with both Microsoft's OpenHCI, Intel's Universal HCI and USB 2.0 new generation specification EHCI. As a standard USB hub, it buffers USB data from any attached peripherals or devices in compliance with USB specification versions 1.1 and 2.0 to provide an invisible extension of the USB bus. Supporting both low-speed 1.5Mbps devices, full-speed 12Mbps devices and high-speed 480Mbps, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer. Rating:
The DUB-H7 allows you to plug in 7 USB 2.0 devices at once, great for a laptop or PC with limited built-in ports. The unit comes with its own narrow style power supply, which doesn’t interfere with other plugs in adjacent sockets, and USB 6ft A-B lead to connect the hub to the computer. It works under all of the following Microsoft operating systems, Windows XP, 2000, ME and 98 second edition (also Mac 10.1 and above). There are no installation disks to deal with, just plug in and the device is recognised automatically.
