HP Advancestack Hub 8U

HP Advancestack Hub 8U ... of hubs offers expandability and value by allowing you to purchase what you need now with the option of adding new functionality, as your network needs change. This model has 8 RJ-45 10Base-T ports and allows cascading to easily expand (use one of the RJ-45 ports to connect to another hub). It also has one recessed transceiver slot in the back of the unit that will accept any one of four modules that contain different media types connections for fiber-optic, coaxial (BNC), Twisted-Pair, and AUI. To upgrade to SNMP management, just add the optional SNMP Management Module for AdvanceStack 8U and insert it into the expansion bay.

The AdvanceStack 10Base-T hubs support Plug-and-Play and ship with HP AdvanceStack Assistant software for easy installation. There are also LEDs that aid in diagnostic functions, including Activity, Collisions, AUI/Xcvr, Per Port Status, and Power that provide quick hub status checks as well as troubleshooting support.
