One can connect 10 or 100 Mbps network devices to the hub. Each port individually senses and adjusts to run at the proper speed. Each unit has a built-in self-learning bridge which provides the communications link between the 10 and 100 Mbps network devices. The DS309 is Class B EMI compliant which means it does not electronically interfere with your home appliances. It features a compact design and can be inconspicuously placed on the desktop or be tucked away. It provides an internal power supply, eliminating the need for a bulky wall transformer. Once powered on, the unit starts to operate with no configuration required.
