Nortel Ethernet Workgroup Concentrator 2803 ... hubs feature 16 modular RJ-45 unshielded twisted pair host ports, as well as front-panel AUI (Model 2803) up-ports for connecting to a variety of network backbones. A series of front-panel LEDs report hub traffic, collisions, management control, and expansion status, while per-port LEDs indicate link and partition status for individual connections. In a standalone configuration, simple local management operations can be performed on the Model 2803 through an ASCII terminal connected to a front-panel port, allowing users to monitor link and partition status as well as enable and disable individual ports.
