A variety of management options are also available, ranging from local hub management to powerful, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)-based Advanced Analyzer solutions featuring full RMON and RMON2 support. Management can be added to the network at any time and upgraded to meet the needs of the evolving environment, eliminating the need for a large up-front investment.

The Model 2715B is physically similar to the Model 2705B, offering 16 shielded RJ-45 modular receptacles for supporting host connections over both shielded and unshielded twisted pair cabling.
