... switch is a great deal. It has 2 ATM 125MBS optic ports, and a ton of RJ45 Ethernet ports for ATM only. They do NOT allow most ethernet cards. You will need ATM ethernet cards. A ton of bandwidth can be handled. Since I am a movie producer, I rely heavily on speed. And this definately handles huge file transfers. D-Link DES-1016R+ ... Switch can be found if i look for same product in indonesian market, if you ask to shopkeeper about products of switch they may be offer D-Link as one of your choice, with 16 port 10/100 MBPS data transfer, but one of weak side of this product is in its design, it is too old fashion, and its price pretty high than others, and in addition its product weak for lightning strike and electrical shock. but overall its product has good reputation in quality of data transfer especially for Local Network.... Netgear FS116 ... can finally surf in super fast speed with Netgear’s FS116 switch. When I am not at work, I’m constantly on the web; my computers are left on 24/7. I was getting bored with my Standard broadband connection half the time I would of probably of been better off back with my 56k modem (dial-up). Constant lagging was really beginning to annoy me I contacted my ISP (internet service provider) they send out an engineer to have a look at my network. The engineer suggested buying a switch to help with the lagging, at first I thought why should I? They should sort the problem.
