It also features full auto-negotiation 10/100 ports which automatically detect speed and duplex modes of attached devices, allowing the switch to automatically configure for the best possible performance.

The POE port allows data and power be transmitted over the same single twisted pair cable without power sourcing consideration or electric rewires. It also supports local power, using an external power supply for LANs without Power over Ethernet capabilities.

The AT-FS705PD switch can be used on a desktop or mounted on a wall. The switch is easy to install and does not require software configuration or management. The auto-sensing ports allow seamless and simple connectivity between existing 10Mbps Ethernet and 100Mbps Fast Ethernet UTP devices, and all units can be installed in minutes. The switch is MDI/MDIX on all ports for simple connection to other hubs and switches. Front panel LEDs allow users to monitor the switch status providing simple "at a glance" management.
