Altusen KVM on the Net KN2116 ... built-in LAN port provides 2 network administrators the ability to control up to 1024 computers from any station connected to the network, whether from the LAN, WAN, or the Internet, at the same time. Network administrators can enjoy freedom from being bound to the server room; work from anywhere in the office, remote locations, or even from home! There is no need to pre-install any software; simply load your browser and launch the Windows/Java Client from within the browser to access your KN2116.

The CAT5 CPU connections and ATEN's proprietary video technology allow servers to be placed up to 40 meters away and still maintain high video resolution; the need for KVM extender is eliminated. It gives IT managers more flexibility to manage their systems. Combining with ATEN's power unit (PN0108), the KN2116 allows administrators not only to manage, but also shut down and reboot their systems from any locations worldwide. For IT administrator's convenience, the KN2116 also supports Radius server.

The KN2116 offers many advanced features such as an intuitive OSD (On Screen Display), Hot Keys, excellent video resolutions, Multi-Session visual capability (Panel Array Mode), flash ROM for firmware upgrades. It offers key attributes including 3-level password-protected security for administrators, 128-bit SSL encryption, IP and MAC Filters, Automatic Logout for protection during idle sessions.
