NWay auto-negotiation on the two 10/100 ports makes configuration of your network devices easy. This dynamic feature automatically detects and configures 10 or 100Mbps operation to insure you are achieving optimum speed. FriendlyNET 8+2 also provides the flexibility of one dedicated (RJ-45) uplink port, allowing connection to a backbone or to another switch without a crossover cable.
