The DES-322T is a two-port Gigabit Ethernet module designed for the DES-3226 Layer 2 Switch, which provides two 1000-BASE-T Ethernet ports. As an expansion module, the DES-322T increases throughput and connectivity at gigabit speeds to servers and switches alleviating any bottlenecks that might occur in the network. The DES-322T is targeted at small, medium, and large businesses.
The DES-322T is compliant with the IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T standard, supporting both auto-negotiation at full duplex modes and flow control signaling on each individual port. Being an expansion module, the DES-322T supports all of the Layer 2 functionalities that is equipped in the DES-3226 Switch, supporting: SNMP, VLAN ID, Port Mirroring, QoS and Port Trunking.

The DES-322T also includes an informative LED-Light indicator displaying 1000BASE-T Mode connections, link build-ups, and packets being broadcasted along the network. The DES-322T also detects a MDI crossover connection when networked to another switch, alleviating the need to use a specific crossover cables.
