EMC Connectrix DS-8B2 ... low-cost switch solution for applications such as DAS-to-SAN migration, small SAN islands, a NAS backend, the edge of core-to-edge enterprise SANs and hub/loop switch replacement. The full-fabric DS-8B2 option is designed for highly available dual-fabric SAN environments. The entry-fabric option is suitable for supporting basic SAN connectivity as it features a single universal port that enables connectivity with one other switch.
