Enterasys Matrix C2 Gigabit Stackable Switch C2G124-24 ... previously found only in large enterprise core switches. A single stack density is now increased to an industry leading 384 gigabit ports or 384 10/100 ports with 32 gigabit uplinks. Reliability and availability is assured with support for Closed Loop Stacking, redundant core connections, redundant power options and redundant stack management. The extensive security features built into all stackable Matrix C2 switches make them an important part of Enterasys Secure Networks, and enable Secure Networks to be extended to the network edge.

The C2G124-24 switch features 24 ports of non-blocking 10/100/1000 connectivity, four uplink ports supporting SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) GBICs and two integrated stacking ports. Ports 21 thru 24 on this model have the flexibility to be mapped as either 10/100/1000 ports or as optical Gigabit Ethernet ports with the installation of a fiber transceiver in the appropriate SFP socket.
