Integrated PoE enables the Summit 300-24 to drive 24 class 3 (15.4-att) devices, including Voice over IP (VoIP) phones, surveillance cameras and badge readers. Thanks to Extreme's Unified Access Architecture, wireless access points (APs) can be seamlessly and securely deployed and managed throughout a facility, supporting any number of data or voice applications.

Based on the award-winning ExtremeWare Layer 3 software, the Summit 300-24 provides 24 ports of 10/100 Ethernet and four Gigabit Ethernet uplinks (two active, two redundant). Every port delivers ExtremeWare Layer 2 and Layer 3 features - ranging from OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) routing and advanced Quality of Service (QoS) to the latest security implementations.
