Leunig Adderlink IP
Secure VNC - a completely new security architecture - was first implemented first in AdderLink IP. The key feature of this unit is the fast and easy adaptability of its security configurations and features (such as AES 128-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication) to individual security requirements. An equally pleasant surprise is the ease of performing routine work with AdderLink IP, to which its fast data exchange, fast mouse response and outstanding image quality contribute. Ease of installation has a high priority: An administrator should be able to unpack, get to know and fully set up the device within 20 minutes. This applies especially to security: To optimize security settings for a particular environment, operation needs to be clear and simple. An on-screen menu on the local operator station provides the interface for initial setup. After a user login, the viewer window appears on screen, showing the monitor image of the default PC with access to all menus required for the session. Users can, for example, select another server from a pull-down menu and switch off its power supply to reboot it. For the first time, the server screen and all controls required within a session are presented in a single window. Here you can arrange an online demonstration. Please give a suitable date and time as well as your phone number. Up to four remote users can access a server at the same time, for example to discuss or remedy a problem together. For exclusive access, users can also activate Private Mode. The image quality and refresh speed is adapted individually to each user's available bandwidth. Each remote administrator can choose between a Java-capable browser or a VNC viewer. It is even possible for several users to access AdderLink IP from different platforms at the same time. The VNC viewer is faster and provides a higher level of security and a better image quality. It can be downloaded from AdderLink with a standard browser and is executable without installation. VNC (Virtual Network Computing) is a de-facto standard used throughout the world and which used to be in the public domain. VNC is truly platform-independent, compact, fast, and easy to install. Until recently, it still had security gaps and required software to be installed on the server. |
