Levelone Procon GSW-1290 ... MDU-1290M and MDU-1290T modules for the two expansion slots, this device acts as a stand-alone switch with 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting both copper and fiber connections. In addition, with 2 MDU-1290S 4-port stacking modules, this device performs as a stacking master switch, and up to 12 GSW-2492 switches can be stacked together in star architecture, providing 9.6Gbps of available bandwidth and managed using a single IP address as a single device. The entire switch stack is monitored through network or console port on the GSW-1290.

The GSW-1290 supports a variety of network management features including: Console, CLI, Telnet, Web, SNMP v1/v3, RMON, TFTP, Port Mirroring and DHCP as well as advanced traffic management options including: 802.1x, bandwidth control and support for IGMP v1/v2 Snooping. In order to increase network reliability, the switch also supports 802.3ad, 802.1d and 802.1w standards.

With its 1U height rack-mountable size, the switch can be easily managed in a computer lab or a server room. The clearly visible status LEDs provide easy monitoring of port link activity, speed, and collision, so that you are never in the dark when it comes to the status of your data transmissions.
