Levelone Procon GSW-2493 ... GSW-2491TXM switches to become a virtual stacking group. Up to 8 units can be stacked while managing this group via a single IP address to centralize your management interface.

With its modularized design, the GSW-2493 is able to integrate different network scales. LevelOne offers outstanding flexibility by providing different modules, 8-port 10/100TX and 8-port 100FX for 3 slots and 2-port 1000T & 2-port mini GBIC for 1 slot, to interoperate with your copper or fiber network and also to provide non-blocking, wire-speed switching performance. Seven trunk groups of 4 member ports eliminate network bottlenecks from increased bandwidth. You can partition the network into 256 VLANs using 802.1Q Tagging technology. The Class of Service (CoS) allows you to prioritize traffic for time-sensitive applications.

The GSW-2493 supports a variety of network management features including: Console, CLI, Telnet, Web, SNMP v1/v3, RMON, TFTP, Port Mirroring and DHCP as well as advanced traffic management options including: 802.1x User-Authentication, Bandwidth control and IGMP v1/v2 Snooping. In order to increase the network reliability, LevelOne's GSW-2493 switch also supports 802.1d Spanning Tree protocol.

With its 1U height rack-mountable size, the switch can be easily managed in computer labs or server rooms. The clearly visible status LEDs provide easy monitoring of port link activity, speed, so that you are never in the dark when it comes to the status of your data transmissions.
