The GVRP feature allows for automatic configuration of VLAN and IGM snooping identifying multi-cast traffic to make efficient use of the switch's bandwidth.

The GSW-2692 allows for up to 8 stackable switches to be connected via 2 Gigabit stacking ports to create a virtual management switch. The 2 SFP ports give network managers the flexibility they need with upgrading network requirements when connecting single mode and multi mode gigabit fiber optic cables to the switch.

The port-based MAC filtering prevents unauthorized users to access the switch while the spanning tree protocol supports a loop-free network that improves fault tolerance and simplifies network configuration.
