Fully compliant with IEEE802.3u, 100BASE-TX, 100BASE-FX and IEEE802.3, 10BASE-T standards, SP624D has the ability to filter local traffic, detects collision and error on each packet and thus maximizing network performance. The 10/ 100BASE-TX ports on the SP624D features built-in "N-Way Auto-Negotiation" function. With Auto-Negotiation function, the optimum connection mode (Full-Duplex or Half-Duplex) will be selected, and also the optimum connection speed (100Mbps or 10Mbps) will be automatically determined.

SP624D is also designed for those who are looking to expand their network's distance as well as speed. There are several modules for your option for this purpose. The 100BASE-FX multi-mode fiber module comes with standard ST (M320A) and SC (M320B) connector. The multi-mode fiber module enables long-distance connection up to 2 km. The fiber connection best suits interconnecting between building on campus or industrial environment.

Micronet SP624D supports 4-Group port-based VLAN to divide network connection into different segment and provide more bandwidth. Another important feature of SP624D is port-based Trunking that used to aggregate link between switches. With 2-port or 4-port links, the switches provide 400Mbps or 800Mbps bandwidth to solve the bottleneck of network.
