At 10 times the speed of Ethernet, the NETGEAR FE100 series provides fast information exchange, resource sharing, and client/server or peer-to-peer communication using simple Category 5 UTP wiring--the same wiring used in 10BASE-T Ethernet. The small-form-factor, sturdy, metal design is unobtrusive for desktop installation or wall-mounting. These hubs are plug-and-play with no software to configure.
