Advantages: Faster connection , No more lagging , Small compact and silent

Disadvantages: Could of been designed sooner

I can finally surf in super fast speed with Netgear’s FS116 switch.
When I am not at work, I’m constantly on the web; my computers are left on 24/7. I was getting bored with my Standard broadband connection half the time I would of probably of been better off back with my 56k modem (dial-up). Constant lagging was really beginning to annoy me I contacted my ISP (internet service provider) they send out an engineer to have a look at my network. The engineer suggested buying a switch to help with the lagging, at first I thought why should I? They should sort the problem. I was down at my local computer store when I noticed one of these switch’s they sounded great I asked an engineer for a second opinion he highly recommended a particular type of switch. So I bought one took it home set it up, it’s great no more lagging and my broadband speed has improved too.
The switch I bought was a netgear FS116; this switch boasts 16 ports and is external so you do not have to start taking your computer to pieces. There is no software with this product so no configuration is needed. The switch is carefully housed in a sturdy metal case for years of dependable use, engineered without the need for internal fans so this product is silently operated.
