Nortel Passport 8608GBM ... using multimode or singlemode fiber. The GBICs are available in short distance (SX), long distance (LX) and extended distance (XD and ZX). The new 'M' modules have increased memory that increases the total record count to 128,000. This allows increased scaling where large numbers of MAC addresses are required or where very large routing tables are needed.
