The auto-sensing 10/100 ports automatically detect the speed and duplex modes of attached devices, and allow the switch to automatically self-configure for optimal performance. A designated uplink port allows for easy network expansion as needs change. The plug-and-play SMC6405TX provides filtering and forwarding at full wire speed on all ports, and gives you automatic address learning with a 2,000 entry MAC address table. At-a-glance LEDs provide link status and network monitoring on all ports. The new switch is fully auto-configuring, and requires no user setup. The auto-negotiating ports allow seamless, simple connectivity between existing 10 Mbps Ethernet and 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet devices.
