For quality of service application, the ES-2108 series comes with 4 priority queues per port for different types of traffics. In addition, DSCP is supported as well to realize an end-to-end QoS environment. Regarding IP multicasting applications, the ES-2108 series features IGMP snooping to optimize the service quality. Also in bandwidth management, the ES-2108 series can support bandwidth increment steps as low as 64Kbps to fulfill demand requiring bandwidth differentiation.

The ZyXEL ES-2108 series features VALN functions to secure your network: 802.1Q tagged VLAN and port-based VLAN. With 4K PVID, you get freedom in VLAN management. In addition, the support of MAC filtering, MAC freezing and Specific MAC forwarding, the ES-2108 series allows network administrators to set security policies based on device MAC addresses.
