Kenwood IM200 - A great addition to any kitchen!
Member Name: karlmull
Advantages: value for money, easy, quick
Disadvantages: size, cleaning
My wife is a very keen cook and we have many appliances but an ice cream maker! We have very sweet teeth in our family and thought it was silly not to purchase something that the whole family could enjoy and that could be added to our ever growing list of kitchen appliances!
We often spend a ridiculous amount on ice cream, so really I think this appliance is an investment! (it wasn't even expensive to begin with at around £20!) What I really love about this machine is that you actually know what is going in to your ice cream- done right ice cream isn't that bad for you!
We also decided to buy this appliance as we have many kenwood pieces and we love them! This ice cream maker did not disappoint.
The look of it lets it down...it is quite bulky and can take up quite a lot of room. I'm also not sure how well it would clean in the dishwasher and so far I have been hand cleaning it. The look of it however does not represent what it can actually do!
The product actually comes with plenty of recipes you can try out for yourself which I think is a great added bonus.
Summary: A quality item that is great for the price!
