When I setup my Windows XP, I had in the setup disk this programme, I set this up and I found this programme is good only for picture viewing.

It can add the directories where photo files are available but editing the images is not a very attractive thing in this programme.

You can change the lightings of the programme, which is available even in Microsoft Paint, which is considered as the baby of Image Editing programmes, a barebone photo editor, ACDsee looks like a adult but, in fact it is a very stubborn adult programme, its flashy but few utilities.

Its menu and tool bar has all standard functions. I have a itch in me to play with photos and edit pictures as per my wishes, I make files in Ms Word like 3D Graphics file such as my name or my site name and give it shadings and other stuff and once these graphics are complete, I like to transfer them into one of the graphics programme to make GIF file or JPEG files and Transparent Gif so that they become more manageable and light, This ACDsee dosent let me do it.

To serve my needs and itch, I have IRFANVIEW this is one good programme with all functions , I have in ACDsee as well some extra functions.

ACDSee is good for people who likes flashy things but serious web developers and people who are in the field of graphics and professionals works related to graphics, its not enough.

THIS IS NOT ENOUGH GRAPHICS PROGRAMME.
