Advantages: Fantastic range of features, great to play around with, easy to install, can create great artwork

Disadvantages: Some features are confusing, no instruction guide with software

I love this product, you can pretty much do anything with your photos by using this software. There are so many different functions to totally transform your photos, whether you just want to touch them up a bit, remove parts from them, add colour to skies, or you can blur them, make them look like oil paintings, sketches, the list is endless.

I have made some fantastic prints from using photoshop and some simple snapshots.

I basically mess about with it to see what I can create. I have owned the product for 6 months and there is so much that I don't know how to use. It would be helpful if there was some kind of basic instruction book with the product, but I guess this would push the price up even more, so the books are sold seperately from around £15 upwards depending on the retailer. There is a "help" section which directs you to the internet but I don't always find that it really helps me as much as a book with step by step instructions would.

Some of the functions are pretty much self explanatory, but I have found out many things from photography magazines and following their "how to" step by step guides. It really is quite amazing some of the things that you can do with this software.

I would thoroughly recommend this product for anyone that is looking to enhance their photographs or make some arty prints, or if you are into design.

I doubt I will ever know how to use all the functions available, but it is trial and error and I have a lot of fun seeing just what I can create from the click of a mouse or touch of a button.

Once you have installed it on your computer, you are not able to share it with anyone else as you have a serial number which registers that it has already been installed.

Photoshop elements 6 is available from all good computer stockists and widely available online. Prices start from around £60 upwards.
