Advantages: Easy to use

Disadvantages: Not as many capabilities as other similar software

There's a million image editing programs out there and this is probably one of the lesser known ones. This is surprising, what with it being Microsoft who have created it. Still, other software companies have had longer to work on their 'act'. Microsoft Picture IT! Photo has relative ease-of-use which is certainly it's most appealing feature to most I'd think. Other image editing software can take a bit of a learning curve undesirable to some and is best left to the professionals. Picture It! has a variety of tasks that can be performed using wizards; simply selecting features from a multiple choice style selection and the software will do the job for you. This is what makes it so good for those new to photo editing. It also comes with various templates for things like calendars, flyers, labels etc. This is good as it expands on what it can already do and allows you to use your photos to create something quite personal. This is something which the other image editing programs don't often have.

Summary: A good but basic package.
