Advantages: Professional, have loads of things you can do with it

Disadvantages: can be bit technical and hard to use for novice computer user

Great professional software in today's date. It has loads of options to it by which you could do cool things like layering, merging the images etc to give your work a professional and pin pointer perfection. It can be bit hard to get use to it for novice users but it is just matter of few clicks to get use to it as the user interface is quite friendly and easy to navigate. Using with a scanner - pictures come out really good quality by using its contrast tool. Gives you an options of loads of file extensions you can save you file as. Great idea of layering the images which can be used to do all sorts of cool and complex things with your images.

Technically speaking - this version of photoshop has some brilliant outstanding features like its paint engine(tools) and they have certainly gone better than the vsion 6. Also some more professional stuff like transpirency handling has improved dramatically. and as I said in my review, the interface is quite user friendly but the real beauty is that you can do all sorts of coplex things with it. One of its another great feature is combining two or more images. I sometime get images which when scanning are bigger than the size of the scanner and before using this package i had to scan it in two or more portions and then manually put them together. But using this package it can be done in few clicks and its hard to note difference with hardly any data lost.
Money wise - It is an professional software, looking at the price figures you might find it expensive but i would say that it is the best tool avaliable for the professionals. But one thing is certain with all these special features - it not easy to master this package sharmasonkool 02.03.06
