This is one of the greatest invention of modern days! Photoshop has contributed a lot to the photography industry. Imaging is never the same again. I learn this program when it first come out around 10 years ago. There is always increasing demand for this program and more new features are added to each version.

The cool features are unlimited undos. There is a history function that you can always re-trace your steps and edit. The layering functions allow more vision effects with the image. The filters are also another facinated feature. There are so many different kinds of filters one can use to add spice to the photo.

The text field is a good tool to add types to the image. It is getting easier to use with each new version. However, it is not advisable to output a poster directly. The text always comes out faintedly blur. It is better to save the edited image as a pict or tiff format, and then transfer to a destop publishing programs like Quark or Pagemaker for types layout and output. You will be amazed the difference in quality of types come out.

This program is so powerful that it can easily edit any image. So it is hard to tell whether the image has been edited or not. Afterall, it is a good powerful program that takes time to learn and it is one of the program that people cannot live without nowadays!
