When I first started to use Painter in windows 95 an latter in 98 and ME, I could never imagine that I will become so hooked in graphic tools. Computer imaging, photo editing and similar visual art. One of the reasons for this is undisputedly PhotoImpact. I came across PhotoImpact when I was looking for some better version of Painter. Now this was when PhotoImpact had still at single digit for version number. Now that has a two digits and is still on of the best and simple program that you can use for photo editing or simple "computer" painting.
